As a Board Certified plastic surgeon practicing in Manhattan, New York I have witnessed a dramatic rise in the number of patients in the New York metropolitan area requesting an improvement in their buttocks. I now perform more buttock augmentations using buttock implants than any other Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in the New York area.

My first encounter with the concept of buttock augmentation was during a trip to Peru in the spring of 1997. I was participating in an illustrious international plastic surgery exchange focusing on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. In South America the aesthetic ideal is somewhat different than it is here in the United States. In South America the buttocks are the focal point of sensuality. I discovered that plastic surgeons in South America were routinely augmenting the buttocks in an attempt to meet the demands of a buttock conscience culture. It was not until years later that the buttock implants plastic surgery procedure would become popular in the United States.

Buttock augmentation (buttock implants plastic surgery) is now routinely performed in the United States in only a few states primarily Florida, California, and New York. The influence of the Latin community has helped to popularize the buttock augmentation with solid silicone implants procedure in mainstream society.

I perform the most buttock implant procedures in the United States.  I rarely, encounter complications with buttock augmentation surgery.  The buttock implants  procedure is safe, relatively fast, and I perform the surgery (on both men and women) in my fully accredited surgical suite in Manhattan, New York.

At the prestigious 2005 Aesthetic Society Meeting in New Orleans, I presented my experience using solid silicone implants for buttock augmentation to my peers.  At the 2007 Aesthetic Society I was invited to participate in the instructional course on buttock augmentation where I helped to educate plastic surgeon from around the world who are interested in performing my buttock augmentation procedure.  I am committed to furthering the safety and success rates of buttock augmentation surgery.
